Dennis Kucinich is one of the best congressmen that this country has. We are lucky to have him working for us. I am tempted now to write in Dennis for 2008. Monday night, June 9th, Dennis introduced articles of Impeachment into the House of Representatives. 35 articles to be exact. He read them all on floor of the house. They are all now part of the official Congressional Record. I’d like to say, that its about fucking time that someone had the back bone to introduce Impeachment. Bush should be Gone! Cheney should be Gone! They should stand trial for treason and war crimes. Kucinich has more information available on his website. I’ll post links to that atual articles as soon as I can find them.

Here is a link to the text of the articles of Impeachment. Apparently the folks over at Dennis’s offices are having a hard time accessing their website and have had to find other locations to host the document. It’s 65 pages, I can’t wait to read it in detail. buy cialisbuy cialisbuy levitrabuy levitrabuy propeciabuy propeciabuy somabuy somabuy levitrabuy cialisbuy propeciabuy levitrabuy somabuy cialisbuy propeciabuy levitrabuy somabuy cialisbuy levitrabuy propeciabuy soma

Recently I was lucky enough to be able to visit the shop of a good friend of mine. Alan Flashing does some excellent work out near Yoncolla Oregon. You can visit his web site at flashingforge.com. Alan is one of the most talented smith’s I’ve had the pleasure to meet. Far and away though, the biggest treat was seeing this baby:

Here are some pictures and a short write up of a pre-packaged home Ethanol generating station. It’s compact, and takes in most any kind of sugar. Think waste soda pop, alcohol, etc.. I can’t wait to see more devices like this hit the market. I think there is a large amount of potential for something like this. Especially if it starts to get applied to other fuels then just ethanol.

Here is a good write up about it.

Thanks to a great Christmas present I well off on an adventure into home brewing. I’ve wanted to try making beer for quite a while now, and was slowly tucking away a few dollars here and there to get a nice kit. Well, Santa brought me one instead! Last weekend I pitched yeast on an IPA. I think it might have been a good idea to let it sit in primary fermentation longer then I did, racking on day 6, but I think it should turn out OK after a few weeks in secondary and a good month bottle conditioning. My current plan is to play around with IPA recipes and find something I like that I can brew on a regular basis. Should be fun!

Samual Yellin was a blacksmith that worked out of Philadelphia in the early 1900’s. A lot of fine work went through his shop, and he was obviously a very talented man. His influence and teachings had a large effect in the blacksmithing culture of America. These videos document a recreation of a Yellin piece by a group of blacksmith. Francis Whitaker, another great and instrumental blacksmith, leads up the group.

Well, Mitt Romney sure is trying. It seems like a bit of a conflict of interest to me. His VC firm is purchasing Clear Channel. Clear Channel owns more then 1,100 full power radio stations, 12 XM channels and 30 Television stations. They also hold the contracts to Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity and many other popular right-wing talk shows. I wonder who they will be endorsing for president?

Lew Rockwell is reporting this, you can read their posting at http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/017694.html

In college I took a writing course that focused on “Cyber Culture”. One of the topics we discussed was electronic voting. It had not yet happen at that time. I ranted and lectured about how unsafe that process would be. Many people thought the 2000 and 2004 elections had problems with this. Here is congressional testimony of a programmer that was asked to write code to steal an election. This likely won’t make you sleep well at night…
